This design was commissioned as a thank you gift to individuals and families for helping with a home renovation. I created a simplified line drawing of the front of the house and took inspiration from the colors of the home's interior to create the digital watercolors above. I applied the watercolor designs to the "pieces" of the house, adding a dashed stitch-like pattern for the outlines and quilted design as the background. These techniques were used to reflect the owner's passion for quilting and representative of the many individuals working together to create the home. This design was created in Procreate.
